December 19-24, 2012
We were extremely blessed to be able to go to Cabo San Lucas for our honeymoon. Gosh, it was perfect! I've never experienced such perfect weather during the week before Christmas. 80 degrees and sunshine the entire time we were there. Everything was beautiful and the people were so kind.
Our first day we walked around the city and of course checked out the beach.
But seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon. Here are the reasons why it was so awesome: I got to take a vacation with my best friend (and ONLY my best friend), we got to do tons of fun activities in Cabo, and we got to RELAX. Jordan and I both agree that one of the best moments we had was sitting in bed, watching tv, and devouring some ice cream.
Jordan was a little hesitant to get matching hats,
but he and agree that they are awesome!
Jordan was great at bartering and getting us great deals. The picture above and below are from our snorkeling trip. The day before we went, we checked out the mall and the marina, and some guy was trying to sell us a snorkeling package. The package included a ride on a catamaran, snorkeling gear, and an open bar. Jordan explained that we were LDS and did not drink. Jordan said that he did not want to have to pay for alcohol. The guy thought about it, and then offered us a sweet deal and told us they would make us non-alcoholic drinks.
The catamaran was a ton of fun. We talked to a lot of cool people AND we survived the end of the world! We were on the catamaran on December 21, 2012 supposedly at the time the world was supposed to end. lol The catamaran took us to a beautiful bay just east of our resort. The water was so clear and there were so many fishes! Jordan insisted on swimming closer to the rocks (even though it was against the rules) and so I panicked a few times.
After we went on our snorkeling trip, Jordan managed to score us another awesome deal. We were able to get a para-sailing package for half the price (I think it was even less than half the price). Not only were we able to go para-sailing together, but the company sent a shuttle to our resort to pick us up and to take us back. We were so lucky!
The next three pictures are from our para-sailing trip.
There was another couple on the boat that were also para-sailing. They were awesome and took so many pictures for us! They took pictures from the boat while we took a camera out para-sailing!
Jordan doesn't like heights very much, so he was a little nervous as we were lifting off. But in the end, Jordan and I had so much fun!
The view we had was fantastic! The water, the beach, and El Arco were all so stunningly beautiful! I would do it again in a heartbeat!
On our way we found the cutest baby sea turtles. There were a few people trying to help the baby turtles make it out to the ocean. We later found out that these little guys are endangered. :(
We made it to El Arco and boy, was it beautiful! We couldn't stay too long because the tide was rising and we would have had to swim back!
I know it's super cliche, but I couldn't resist taking this picture. This was along the beach on our resort.
