"There's two times of year for me: Football season, and waiting for football season." - Darius Rucker

We were extra lucky that this year the NFL Draft took place in Philly! We knew there were going to be tons of people there so we took the train in to the city. We had to walk a while to actually get to the draft, but the view along the walk was worth it! I had no idea you could see the LDS temple from one of the main circles in Philadelphia. It was a gorgeous sight to see while we dipped our toes in the fountain.
You can be assured that when Maria plays with water, she is happy! lol After a long walk we finally made it to the draft! I'm not going to lie, we got a lot of strange looks from people looking at our shirts. The fans in Philadelphia are lifelong, hardcore fans that were born and raised here, and they could not understand how we had a "split" family. haha! We even had someone interview us about it!
Jordan and I were lucky that we are fans of west coast teams because there were no lines to take pictures with our teams' stuff!
Maria had a blast being a big girl and walking around with daddy. :)
This wasn't even close to being the most packed area, and it wasn't even the peak time for the crowds, but still TONS of people!
We might have had a little too much fun, but I regret nothing.
The line for all the Eagles' stuff was crazy long, so Maria had to settle with the Chargers for a picture (much to Jordan's chagrin). But Jordan was proud to represent the 49ers nonetheless. lol We had so much fun just looking around at everything they had and then got out of there before the big rush came.
