We got to take a trip to D.C. again, sooner than expected because Jordan's sister Brittany came to visit! She was visiting her friend in Virginia so we met up at the D.C. Zoo. It was great!
The best part of the whole day was when Brittany took Maria on the carousel! It was so cute watching them! The only thing Jordan didn't like was that they rode on a naked mole rat. haha I thought it was hilarious. :)
Maria didn't pay very much attention to the animals this time, but we had fun watching them.
Maria eventually got so tired that when I handed her a bottle, this happened:
For some reason, Maria was much more interested in the animals that were in the water.
I love watching her interested little mind work.
As we left that day we got to see all of the cherry blossoms in bloom! So pretty!
Again, we always wish we had more time. Especially when it comes to family. But it was so good to see Brittany and to see her hug and kiss Maria. :)
