The weather is getting warmer and the trees are starting to bud, so we thought it would be great to talk a walk around the local park. We all enjoyed getting some fresh air.
At every corner in the park, they have a memorial for those who died in the many wars over the past century. We thought it was so incredible to see the many names of those who died serving our country who were from the same town we now live in. I was surprised to see so many names from such a small town. It was nice to have another reminder of the sacrifices made for us.
After walking in the park, we remembered that there was a cannoli place nearby. We had heard great things, so we wanted to try ourselves. They were by far the BEST cannolis we had every had in our LIVES!!! Ever since trying them that day, we made it our goal to get some every Saturday. They're only a $1 so how can you say no?!?!
While we were sampling the flavors, little Miss Maria grabbed some cream from my spoon. By the time I noticed, she already had cream all over her mouth. To keep her happy, we just let her suck on our sampling spoons while we enjoyed our cannolis!
Seriously guys, you will never have a better cannoli than this. The people who own the place are Sicilian Italians and they are LEGIT!
